How-To You
This little tutorial was made to help you "You". Hopefully I made it as easy as possible to get this accomplished. I will go through a step by step instruction to help all of you "You" each other.
Step 1
You first need to log-in to use the site to its full potential. To log-in, you first need to make an account. Fortunately this process relatively painless, but might have a small waiting period. This waiting period is to (hopefully) remove spam from the site. To register an account, click on the the "Create New Account" button under the login boxes.
Step 2
After you get to the "Create New Account" screen simply put in your desired user name and email address (it is important that this is a real address) in their respective boxes. Immediately after this you should receive an email to the account you specified. In the email you will receive your password (which is randomly generated).
Do not be concerned when you try and log-in and you are rejected. During this time, we at TheYouGame.com, should be getting an activation request from you. To prevent spam, every new users account not made by an administrator is automatically inactive and requires an administrator to activate. When we see that you have registered, we will activate your account as soon as possible.

After you are activated, log in on the front page and go on to Step 3 (be aware that you may change your password at anytime while logged in by going to the "My Account" and then click on "Edit" button next to the "View" button in the center column).
Step 3
After you are logged in, go to the left panel, and choose Content. Then choose Create-A-You. You should get the Create-A-You form to show up as shown.
Step 4
This is the form in which you will submit your You. It is important that everyone submits their Yous in the same way. I will go down the each box to show you what type of thing to put in each.
A - Put your victims name in here. Don't worry about the word victim, only their pride will be hurt. Also, only people who KNOW they are a victim of that you can be put here. Remember the rules. If someone does not know the You exists, they cannot be it.
B - This is the type of You that you are making the person. This just makes it easier to organize it this way. We do not host pictures or videos on this site as of yet. PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY IMAGES WITHOUT CITING WHERE THEY CAME FROM. ALSO DO NOT POST ANY COPY WRITTEN VIDEOS (IE links to illegal full length movies). Whew, not my ethroat is soar.
C - This is where you post the actual You.
If you want to post an image, you can use the HTML tags. For those of you who are HTML deficient then here is what your image code should look something like.
<img src="http://www.website.com/picture1.jpg">
It is okay to post a link, but seeing the actual image is preferred by all.
If you want to post a link to a site, blog, news article, etc., then use the HTML tags. Your link should look something like this example.
<a href="http://www.website.com/whatever.html">Link text goes here</a>
If you are posting a situation or written piece then you should just copy and paste it into the box.
D & E- Don't worry too much about them. Just make sure that in Input Format (D) that it is set to Full HTML.
